Artist Statement

My art is informed by a sense of loss, an appreciation for the fluidity and finality of time, and the redemptive roles that imperfection and forgiveness play along the path of creative expression. Influenced by French and American impressionists with an interest in tonalism, I pursue Liminalism, aspiring to blend composition, values, color and mood to explore quietude in celebrating the overlooked and under appreciated.

I am honored to have sold works, commissioned works, and garnered attention including acceptance and participation in the TC Steele Members Art Show, Nashville, IN.
